Session Theme

"Igniting a Culture of Innovation"

Why diversity is essential today - from the vantage point of leading community & company continuance

Participants:

This program is intended for enterprise CEOs, Chief Digital Officers, Heads of New Business, CIOs, and executives in the planning and strategy departments who have a passion for organizational transformation with a focus on AI & digital transformation and social issues.

Mission:

This session will provide an opportunity for sparking ideas together by "building them on top of each other's" in a flat, small-group environment that combines fun and creativity. We aim to create a dialogue among participants who share the same challenges, transcending company and industry boundaries, and to inspire participants to take concrete action.

How It's Planned:

This exclusive event is crafted by the organizer and dedicated volunteers and we welcome your input and suggestions.

Invitations are reserved for the organizers’ and speakers’ personal networks. Let us know if you know someone who you think should be invited.

Sketch - Why do this?

The organizer is considering conducting sessions like this one on a regular basis as a meeting series with the below-written objectives. This session is intended as a pilot for such a series. There will be no ongoing commitment by the participants of this session, however we would appreciate a chance to potentially invite you to future sessions and ask you to provide brief feedback on this one.

Summary:

This meeting series brings together business leaders who aim to lead the wave of social change and open new cultural horizons. Through free and lively discussions and creative insights, we will generate ideas that will shape the social values of the future.

Our mid- to long-term mission is to serve as a "bridge" between the many existing communities of change and to generate discussions that transcend all borders, including gender, national borders, and generations, not to mention companies and industries.

Background:

The modern business environment faces unprecedented uncertainty due to rapid digital transformation, serious environmental issues, and socioeconomic fragmentation. Japan, in particular, is seeking a new pillar of economic growth in this context, while at the same time having to cope with a weak yen and enormous national debt amid a declining birthrate and aging population, and the impact of these on our day-to-day lives is ongoing.

A Vision for Diversity and Inclusion:

We believe we have a responsibility to transform these challenges from mere "crises" into opportunities for innovation and change.

It is diversity and inclusion that enables us to overcome divisions of thought and perspective, shifting global and complex challenges into opportunities for change.

A cultural shift that overcomes "boundaries" will lead to the digital transformation of companies, new product and service developments, and the creation of social and economic value, which will be an essential theme for future-oriented business leaders.
